I love the Memory Verse of the Month and think it has such prevalence with the season we are in right now. Just having come out of the Festival of Tabernacles; we see that there is a stress in this time to understand the fleeting nature of our flesh and our sojourning in the earth, just as the Israelites sojourned in the Wilderness for 40 years. And I think Paul uses this 'temporary Tabernacle' imagery to remind his readers of that time in the desert, that though these earthly dwellings are finite and will dissolve, we have confidence in our heavenly abode, in renewed bodies that won't fade where we won't be sojourners anymore but perpetual citizens in the eternal dwelling in Jerusalem with Him. Thanks, Alex!
